Ariel Winter is one step closer to finding a permanent home.
After the judge had time to review the report from the L.A. County Department of Children And Family Services, it seems he's leaning more towards their opinion- that Ariel should be permanently removed from her mother's care.
The DCFS report presented plenty of evidence of emotional abuse to sway the judge, who must now set a date for a permanent ruling.
Ariel's mother Chrystal Workman argued that big sis Shanelle Workman only wanted guardianship to get her hands on the Modern Family star's money, but the judge didn't buy it.
He reportedly assessed Ariel to be a mature, reliable witness capable of discerning who had her best interests at heart.
There may not be an official ruling yet, but it def looks like Ariel will end up with her sister after all.
We're just happy the judge seems to be doing his job so thoroughly! After all, the best way to protect Ariel is to find the truth.
