The Agriculture Department has responded!
After receiving much criticism for its school lunch rules - the secretary for the department said the department will do away with meat and grain limits for school lunches.
Which means more delicious mystery meat for all school students!
"This flexibility is being provided to allow more time for the development of products that fit within the new standards while granting schools additional weekly menu planning options to help ensure that children receive a wholesome, nutritious meal every day of the week."
The limits were first applied to combat childhood obesity rates, but many school children were complaining of being too hungry even after eating lunch.
So instead of reducing the amount of food - the new rules will require schools to offer at least one vegetable or fruit per meal.
And of course if kids are still hungry for even more SCHOOL FOOD then they can purchase whatever they deem fit.
Hooray for school meat!!
