Last month, Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut experienced a HORRIFIC tragedy that killed 20 kids and six adults.
Instead, to make things fresh and as normal as possible, Chalk Hill Middle School in Monroe, which is only six miles away from Sandy, was recreated so the children can get a new beginning.
The school is set to have a walk-through today and will open up on Thursday.
We're hoping this will be a good start because what the kids, families and staff went through is unbearable.
