Sheryl Leach may have created Barney The Dinosaur as a good role model for kids, with his sweet, gentle demeanor, but it seems her son may have taken on some of the more realistic attributes of a tyrannosaur.
Patrick Leach was arrested for attempted murder last week after allegedly shooting a man in the chest in Malibu.
Police have not made Patrick's motive public, but they are holding him in lieu of a half million dollar bail.
Luckily for both men, the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
On second thought, maybe a carnivorous monster wasn't the way to go to teach your kid morality?
