According to sources close to the show, MTV is planning to shut down the hit, despite rocking ratings, in order to… avoid controversy?

Apparently the network that recently turned 30 is getting more conservative as it grows older.
Maybe once they defended Beavis And Butthead and Jackass, but they're just not willing to stand behind the antics of Jenelle Evans!
Word is MTV is tired of the bad publicity surrounding the star- arrest, divorce, drugs, cheating- all on Twitter for over half a million fans to see!
The show attempts to portray motherhood as difficult and requiring responsibility, and Jenelle's glamorization of criminal behavior and partying undoes that.
No official word from MTV, but it does look like Season 4 will be the end of Teen Mom.
