Drugged Up Mother Is Sentenced To Jail After A Falling TV KILLED Her Son!

kian mcmillan died after mother dropped tv on him

This is appalling in every way possible.

4-month-old baby, Kian, was killed after his mother, Natalie McMillan, who was under the influence of drugs and alcohol tried to connect a plug into her TV, which unfortunately tumbled over and landed on her poor bebe.

The little kiddie was lying on a changing mat on the floor, but once the foolish mother knocked over her TV set, the baby was CRUSHED, and didn't survive the hit.

Miz McMillian was then tried at the Preston Crown Court in Burnley, Lancashire, where she denied to have had any drugs or alcohol in her system when her son died, and said that her baby daddy, Edward Hanratty was to blame for their sprout's death.

However, after taking a few drug tests, traces of heroin and valium were found in her blood as well as in Hanratty's.

While in court, both parties pleaded guilty to child cruelty, and 25-year-old Natalie was sentenced to 15 months of prison by Judge Anthony Russell.

Russell said:

"Over the short life of your child it is apparent that both you and your partner gave priority to your selfish and self-indulgent drugs lifestyle and neglected the welfare of Kian. On the night he died, both of you were so intoxicated by drugs and alcohol that you probably forgot all about him with the tragic consequence that he died. This is a young woman who is emotionally detached. This emotional detachment may be long term by reason of her own life by what occurred in infancy and subsequently in adolescence."

As for Edward, he failed to show up for his sentencing and currently has a warrant out for his arrest. He also has previous charges of welfare issues with other children.

Dayum! These two were just messed up in the head. We're sad to hear that a baby had to pass over a "foolish" move, and it's very unfortunate that McMillan only got a 15 month sentence for her baby's death.

There's nothing that can be done now, but we're hoping these unfit parents are feeling pain.

I find it disrespectful, inappropriate, and just plain wrong to the memory of that poor deceased baby for Perez to use slang like, "Miz", "bebe", and "baby daddy" when reporting this story. Is it just me?

Well said by the judge, thank you!

If she wasnt high on drugs would she still be given jail time? this isn't a criticism or sarcastic comment, i legitimately want to know, as an accident like this could also happen to a sober parent.

That sounds like something you would do, Mario. You stupid fat junky!

I notice you say the child was 15 months Perez, that is the sentence received. Unfortunately, all other news reports report the infant as a mere 4 months old. Horrific.

    Re: Matt – That's what I was thinking…
This is such a tragedy, but I feel more aware of things that one wouldn't expect that could go horribly wrong (obviously I know it's way more likely to occur if on drugs but it seems like it could possibly happen to a sober person).
Oh, and perez seriously don't use cutesy or slang term when reporting a sad story, it's so inappropriate.

This story could be a warning to all parents, not just druggies. My gosh that poor little baby.

I don't think this is an accident that could happen to a sober parent. A sober parent wouldn't "accidentally" knock over a tv when their 4 month old is laying right in front of it. I'm assuming it was a tube tv. Nobody could be that dumb. I hope this haunts them for the rest of their lives.
