TSA Bogs Down 3-Year-Old In Wheel Chair For Pat Down & Swabbing

| Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueDisneyCrazzzzyCute KidzPerezcious Parenting

WTF?!?

Earlier this month, Nathan and Annie Forck headed to Disney World in Orlando, FL with their two children and 3-year-old daughter, Lucy who suffers from spinal bifida and is confined to a wheelchair — and just when they thought they were going on a super fun trip, the TSA in their home state of Missouri made going through security frightening.

In the video (above), Annie demonstrates how her little angel was detained by TSA for a pat down and a swabbing of her wheel chair.

We honestly don't think a toddler that's crying her eyes out should ever go through a measure like this, but it didn't seem like airport security gave a hoot because they even took the girl's stuffed animal, Lamby!

It might be time for TSA to brush up on how to handle children because they have no idea what they're doing.

Ch-ch-check out the clip to see how the TSA mistreated Lucy.

in times of 9/11 there should be no problem to cooperate within a security check even with a small kind. better than there will be another blownup airplane one day, that would create a real und understandable outrage. parents who are not willing to accept this regular procedure should rather go by car than take a plane. you can prepare your child in advance that this kind of check might happen to him/her. if the parents are cooperative the child will tolerate this even better. this kind of check is done in uner 30 seconds, better than making a big fuss out of it, that takes a couple minutes and frightens and discourages your child. this is a comment by an educative teacher from germany. american people are in a lucky situation that there country is willing to secure their security even more since 9/11. dont forget about that.

Sorry - as much as it sucks, and as much as I think TSA does cross the line sometimes by cupping women's breasts and running fingers through hair of African American women, in this case, I don't think they overstepped. You don't like having to put your kid through security, then as berita suggets - don't fly. GUN parts and ammunition were found in a stuffed animal in an airport last May in Rhode Island. Sorry people - your kid's gonna cry because their doll was taken for the 2 minutes it takes for it to be properly screened, for the safety of all. Its easy to hide a weapon. Thats the bottom line.
