The father of a rising star young rapper is being investigated by the Massachusetts child welfare authorities after an anonymous caller voiced their concern to the authorities.
No one is questioning the fact that Lil Poopy, born Luie Rivera Jr. is talented, but his music videos feature drug references and scantily clad women gyrating which has raised the ire of many a citizen.
But representatives of the father of the rapper claim their client has done nothing wrong.
Here's what the father's lawyer said:
"This is just what I would call a racially tinged investigation because whoever watched it probably doesn’t understand rap. This isn’t some child left alone that’s not going to school. It all comes down to content in the videos, which is protected by the First Amendment.”
But the authorities don't see a parody but rather a little kid possibly being exploited to make money for his parents.
One cop said:
"It’s a bit much for a 9-year-old. It warrants the attention of the Department of Children and Families.”

Sadly, Gia has received some backlash from her parents' deeds, and with her group 3KT, released this emotional song, Just 13, which she wrote with her voice teacher. She said she wrote it to explain how she's feeling and to let her fans know she's going to be okay.
Take a look at the video (above), and keep in mind that she's just 13.
