Bedwetting is misunderstood. The National Kidney and Urologic Diseases
Information Clearinghouse (NKUDIC) states for one that 'a child’s bladder* might be too small. Or the amount of urine produced overnight is too much for your child’s bladder to hold. As a result, your child’s bladder fills up before the night is over. Some children sleep so deeply that they don’t wake up when they need to urinate.'
No shame there, particularly if the cause is physiological.

An end to bedwetting is an enormous relief to children. Sean's big reveal shows how much children, teenagers and adults suffer from bedwetting. Unfortunately, bedwetting is not conquered by changing what you drink, or even when you drink.

The only way to end bedwetting successfully is to recognize that the problem is a SYMPTOM resulting from a genetically determined and transferred deep sleep disorder. Until the underlying sleep disorder is addressed, a child grows older and will continue to wet the bed, frequently have daytime “accidents” and suffer from the psychological distress that the disorder can cause.

Three cheers to Diddy for sharing that he was a bed wetter. There is so much stigma attached to bed wetting it often causes terrible embarrassment and torture for the child involved and sometimes mistreatment from others. People tend to blame the bed wetter as if they are stupid or too lazy to get up and go to the toilet. I was born with a birth defect in my bladder, and this problem plagued me till I was 18. I simply had no control over my bladder at night. As an adult, no longer with this issue, I never hesitate to tell people I was a bed wetter if the subject comes up. People need to be educated so they can learn not to be cruel.
