Jessica Alba wrote the book on parenting- literally! Her new book The Honest Life is full of tips on raising your kids healthy and eco-friendly.

But Jess thinks it's important not to judge other moms… unless you're Gwyneth Paltrow because she has advised people to starve their children!

She says:

"When you become a mom, the last thing you want to do is feel judged because everybody is trying to do the best they can."

The Into The Blue star says that even somewhat extreme cases like attachment parents shouldn't be shamed. She says:

"My girlfriend who is co-sleeping with her kids and may or may not be breastfeeding her 3-year-old shouldn’t hide that. She should be fine with that, and she shouldn’t feel judged.

And then my friend who never even attempted really to breastfeed because it was too exhausting for her… she shouldn’t feel like she’s a bad mom."

Even the amount of time you spend with your kids shouldn't be judged too harshly if the quality is there. Jessica says:

"I have friends who literally are better parents when they are going to work every day for long days and they have weekend time or night time with their kids.

I have other friends who cannot even imagine leaving their child for one second and need to be attached literally at the hip, and that is fine as well."

Well, not literally attaching them at the hip. You're better off putting them in a stroller or a Baby Bjorn or something.

No judgment, Jess! LOLz!

I have to say that I am not a fan of you labeling those who practice attachment parenting, as extreme. That is the opposite of what you were trying to share about Jessica Alba's beliefs regarding moms not judging one another. Same goes for dads, think about that now that you are one.
