Gwyneth Paltrow Allows Her Kids To Cheat On Their Low-Carb Gluten-Free Diet Once A Week!

gwyneth paltrow allows her kids to cheat on their diet once a week(1)

While Gwyneth Paltrow is very strict about her low-carb gluten-free diet, she admitted that she does allow her kids, Apple and Moses to enjoy ONE cheat day throughout the week.

The It's All Good cookbook author is keen on teaching her children about all the right foods they should eat, but she understands that sometimes they need junk food.

Miz Paltrow said:

"I tried to start them off with all of the right foods, but as they got older, the lure of Oreos and cotton candy outweighed the lure of carrots with hummus. And that's all a part of childhood and I love Oreos too, so I completely understand. I try to make sure that what is on their plate at home is nutritious and tasty, and then I loosen way up on the reigns when we are out.

They love a brown rice stir-fry, but they also love their 'Coke of the week'. My daughter gravitates toward fresh fruit and raw nuts but will inhale a bag of hot Cheetos at the airport. It's all about balance."

Gwynnie went on to say that she has incorporated her kiddies in the kitchen ever since they were born, and has even taught them how to crack an egg, and do math with measuring cups as they cooked.

We're happy to hear that the Iron Man 3 actress understands that children sometimes need freedom with food — especially because they starve while they're on her strict diet.

Guess dessert is probably out of the question after meals.

So sadsies!

When the grow up, and can choose their own food they will go crazy, and wind up being 300 lb freaks ! Can't wait for the Jerry Springer 'special' where they knock down the wall of the house to remove a 300lb Moses Martin for medical care….and as fer Apple ! Well ! She will have NO sele-esteem, and will sleep with anything to validate herself. She will star in low - budget porn…'Apple Does Orange County' ! LOL ! Maybe her kid's diet was overblown. Is she giving them healthy carbs like sweet potatoes, whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta? But either way, I think that if I worked for the family in any capacity like their nanny or something, I would slip them a granola bar every now and then.
If children are not full then they are NOT getting the calories that they need to grow. What if they are experiencing a growth spurt then they need those extra calories.

'Goop', or 'Crap', or WHATEVER the HELL her nick-name is, obviously has an eating dis-order, and is passing it along to her two kids. She needs MAJOR therapy, as will those kids after having grown up under her 'mothering'….sick sick sick ……

no wonder all these hollyweird kids are drug addicts and kill themselves. there is probably not a worse hell then being stuck with these ding-bats as parents.

This is how I was raised and how I raised my daughter. We had no junk food in the house and one a week or so we had a treat. Those eating habits carried on long after they were enforced. She may be annoying, but if more parents kept the crap out their houses, there would be a lot fewer obese children.

there is nothing wrong with wanting the best for child! The amount of crap that is put into food these days I would probably do the same with my child.

She's always on a crazy diet to keep herself healthy, yet for a person in her 40's she's had a unusually large number of health problems…go figure.

  16. 16

It's her kids so she has every right to feed them what she wants. I'm sure she has access and the mean$ to supply her kids with healthy food anyway.

  17. 17

Her kids look healthy and happy. The parent you should go after is Honey BooBoo's and parents like that who allow their kids to eat all junk food and fast food. The same kids who grow up and have all kinds of disease and drive health insurance prices through the roof!!!!! All so they can be lazy and eat what they want.

    18

Imparting her anorexic food control issues onto her children… AWESOME!

  19. 19

She is kind of crazy. I get wanting your kids to be healthy, but putting crazy rules of what they eat is weird. I understand Jessica Alba having her kids eat natural and things that don't have preservatives, but Gwyneth is overboard! Then when she does let them eat snacks that regular kids eat she gives them chemical filled stuff? I eat Oreos, but I'm not on an anti gluten, low carb, juice fast diet.

  20. 20

starve was the wrong word.. they crave junk food.. we all do.. but it's very addicting and bad for us

  21. 21

actually eating healthy so young gives them a l ifetime of health eating. they won't go nuts as you say. Now a kid that gets lots of treats at a young age will continue that process and crave more and more and more and never have the geenneance and the fix I need is greater than a child who never drank soda

  22. 22

whole wheat bread isn't healthy. if you READ or know anything gluten means no wheat. Wheat has no purpose in a human diet and we as humans can not digest it.. hence it's pummeled into a powder so we can. Tons of bread out there made from rice, potato, tapioca etc.

  23. 23

Sad commentary on life when people are raging and using nasty name calling for people who eat healthy LOL.

  24. 24

She is a pompous, self absored c-u-n-t.

  25. 25

must be freaks at school while the other kids are inhaling mcds and getting huge .open their lunch box and got celery sticks and hummus in there at least they wont be beaten up for their lunch

  26. 26

    just for being freaks

Are her kids Coeliacs or not? If so, they should stick firmly to a gluten free diet otherwise she is doing them harm! Their guts will be damaged and they will not absorb vitamins and minerals as they should - they will become anaemic, calcium deficient etc and be at risk of very serious bowel (cancer) diseases as a result. Coeliac disease is an auto-immune illness - not a fad diet! If children are not coeliacs they should not be, or said to be, on a Gluten free diet - it causes confusionl See website for Coeliac.org.uk

  28. 28

No child should be on a gluten free diet unless they have Coeliac disease. If they are coeliacs then they should be on a strict gluten free diet otherwise she is putting them at risk of malabsorption of vitamins and minerals and serious illness in the future. She needs advice from professionals. See Coeliac.org.uk She is setting a very bad example.

  29. 29

Well…now she just sounds like she's all over the place…they eat no glutten or carbs all week…and then are randomly allowed Oreos and cheetos?? Honestly, I'm all for teaching children to eat healthy at a young age…I was raised in a home where apples were more common for snack than cookies and it does pay off but this all just sounds far too complicated for anyone to ever really understand. I always was raised to believe its best to keep food simple…fruits and or veggies with every meal, watch portion sizes, avoid cooking with salt and butter, don't eat late at night…and if we had cookies for desert, that was our "junk" for the day. We only drank soda if it was a birthday party or Christmas or something and candy of any sort was very limited. But generally we just ate real, easy to make and find healthy food…and now that we're all grown, we all know the basics of eating healthy…without worrying about avoiding carbs or glutten or anything else.

Meh. She's just trying to right by her kids, and as a mom I'm sure she means well. They'll absorb the jist of healthy eating anyway even if she eases up a bit. Variety is the spice of life. The odd pizza or burger will just make the the long haul easier on everyone. She has a
    beautiful smile.

She's doing a great job teaching her kids how to eat healthy and that it's ok to break the rules every once in a while. But she is aware that things that are advertised as gluten free are generally more fattening, right?
