Big Brother Mickey Mouse is watching you!
That is, of course, if you're planning on applying for a job at Disneyland Paris!
That's right! The French theme park has been taken to court for allegedly paying officers more than $46,000 to illegally search the court history and criminal records of potential employees!
Apparently the searches went on for nearly five years from 1999 to 2004 before new management came in and put the kibosh on the shady operation.
So how many applicants were spied on over that span? Somewhere between 2,500 to 3,000 candidates!
Wowzers! Sounds like Mickey has been one busy mouse!
This isn't the first negative publicity to hit Disneyland Paris, as just last year the characters went on strike after a worker who was accused of sexual harassment was let off the hook!
That doesn't sound like the Happiest Place on Earth to us!
