As Dr. Michael Jackson's wrongful death trial continues, many questions are being raised about whether anyone could have done anything to prevent the singer's death.
Well, it turns out someone was trying to do something- Katherine Jackson!
According to testimony by investigators, the King of Pop's mother told police both at the time of his death and in follow-up interviews that the family tried unsuccessfully to stage interventions to help the troubled singer.
Detective Orlando Martinez testified:
"[Katherine] said the family tried to help him but he would have nothing to do with it — she had asked Michael if he was taking any drugs, and he denied it."
Awww! So sad!
All Mom was trying to do was help her baby boy, and he wouldn't let anybody in!
But was that Michael's decision? Or his personal physician's? We'll have to stay tuned to the trial to find out.
