The Cleveland Kidnapper Ariel Castro recently had his bail set at $8 million dollars - which is well deserved.
But police investigators may have found a handwritten letter from Castro from 2004 where the man who kidnapped and held Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus for ten years, expresses remorse for what he has done.
However, at this point the letter has not been released to the public.
One reporter claims to have seen the letter and released a few excerpts from it on his Twitter page.
Here are some of those excerpts:
"I just got a copy of a letter written by Ariel Castro in 2004. Cops found it in his house. He says 'I am a sexual predator. I need help'"
"Castro writes 'They are here against their will because they made a mistake of getting in a car with a total stranger.'"
"Castro continues 'I don't know why I kept looking for another. I already had 2 in my possession.'"
"Castro writes about wanting to kill himself and 'give all the money I saved to my victims.'"
"Castro writes he was surprised how young Gina Dejesus really is cause he thought she was a lot older."
Other news outlets have shared leaks where Castro reveals:
"That he was abused by his parents as a child and that he was raped by an uncle."
Police have yet to comment on the letter, but many believe it was a suicide letter where Castro had apparently thought about killing himself because of his guilt.
Obviously that didn't happen, and Castro kept the women until they were recovered on Monday after ten years of imprisonment in Castro's home.
