Demi Lovato Says She Wants To Be A Mommy In Five Years!

demi lovato says she hopes to settle down and have kids in five years

Demi Lovato has already accomplished SOO much in her young career! She's been an actress, a singer, a judge on The X Factor, and now she's hoping to add one more title to that list: Mommy!

The Heart Attack singer recently revealed her 5-year plan, and although she's not quite sure where she'll end up down the road, she says it's all good as long as she has a husband and some babies when she gets there!

Demi dishes:

"I think I want to focus really, really hard on music for a couple years and I want to take advantage of all the momentum. I want to not let any opportunities slip past me. But then I want to go on a break and I think on that break… and maybe who knows, maybe I don't have a family and maybe I just travel the world and do all charity stuff, which would be so cool or I have a family, but that's basically…I just want to be a wifey with babies."

OMG!! We have so many questions!!!

How many babies do you want? Who will be the lucky man? Can we come over and babysit?? LOLz!

While nothing would make us happier than seeing a bunch of little Demis running around, it is a bit surprising considering her music career is SKYROCKETING right now!

But if that's what she ends up wanting to do, we say go for it! We're sure she'll make a GREAT mommy!

Demi wants to take a break in 2-3 years and then return.
That's not a good idea, Demi. I support you, but people forget about artists who go on "breaks."

I would LOVE to see a celebrity woman who didn't think that being attatched to a partner and having babies is what being a woman is about. Girls like Demi Lovato are what makes feminists a feminist. There's more to being a female than just being married, popping out babies, and being a "wifey" at such a young age. It's both insecure and belittling to women who actually make a difference and WANT to get women on the same level as men. Sad.

Re: BeIndependant – I think what she means is she just wants to start a family and enjoy her time as a mom and wife. She has been on the go for so long, I think she just wants to enjoy life for a while and be a family person. Nothing wrong with that….has nothing to do with a man controlling her. **BLONK**

    Re: BeIndependant

At her age she's lived more life, accomplished more and is at a higher "level" than most of her peers, male AND female. And clearly she's financially stable and independent and hopefully will continue to be. Taking into consideration her health issues I think it's a smart move, if she's financially stable, to have children at a younger age when she has more stamina to take better care of them and of herself. I suggest you take the time to read and find out about her life and everything she's overcome and what an inspiration she's been to other girls and people before passing such simple and narrow-minded judgement over her. That kind of attitude is what turns feminism into misogyny. And yes I am a woman AND a feminist.

Re: BeIndependant – Feminism is about a woman's choice to do things instead of it being expected by society. I didn't see anybody holding a gun to Demi's head requiring her to talk about getting married and having kids, so as far as I can tell she's not "why we need feminism" at all?

Re: whatsup4 – Well Demi's just not that popular, that's why. Justin Timberlake went on a break and he came back from like a 6 year break and he's doing just fine. It depends on the artist.

    Re: -

Demi is pretty popular. She has a wide, solid, diverse fan base.

But still, it's not a good idea.
