Even a prince isn't above asking for advice!
Prince Charles's royal duties recently led him to have tea with some ladies in Kenfig, a village in South Wales, who just happened to be grandparents!
One woman, Eileen Joseph, told the Prince:
“Spoil them and enjoy it, but give them back at the end of the day. You tend to have more time for your grandchildren than you had for your children.”
To which Charlie replied:
“Yes, it’s a different part of your life. The great thing is to encourage them. Show them things to take their interest. My grandmother did that, she was wonderful.”
Then another lady asked, “Are you looking forward to your baby?” And like the amazeballs grandfather-to-be that he is, he said:
“Oh, yes. It is very important to create a bond when they are very young.”
Eileen got in the final statement, joking:
“Wait until they come to you and say ’Dad, can you look after him for the night?”’
That’s when the Prince got all HIGHlarious and said:
“Oh yes, oh yes. The great thing is to try and pull their legs before they pull yours.”
What a kidder!
We’re sure he’s going to have a ball playing with the new royal baby.
