| Filed under: Baby BlabberAnglophiliaPrince WilliamRoyal Baby News

kate middleton birthing suite details will cost 15 thousand dollars

We fully expect this royal baby to have every luxury in the world, and that will start from the moment they are born!

The details of Kate Middleton’s birthing suite have begun to leak out, and it will have plenty of champagne for toasting, and a recliner for Prince William.

Lucky guy!

In addition to her gourmet menu, there will also be a chef on standby in case Kate is craving something cray cray.

So how much does all this cost?

A meer $9,450 for one night, and $3,318 each extra night they stay. The couple has planned to stay for three days, which will top their bill off at $15,085!

And that’s only if they don’t need any extra nights or even an extra suite!

Must be nice to be royal. Ha!

That very reasonable. My dad spent one night in the hospital for observation after having chest pains and it cost almost $26,000. I had a needle biopsy…outpatient procedure…in and out in less than 20 minutes and it cost me $12,000.

It cost me 16,000 to have my child so this is really no big deal.

dim bulb that's only because of the exchange rate between euros/pounds and US Dollars High end birthing suits are always more expensive than a standard room by 3/1 a standard maternity ward room is 1,500 a night so the suits like Kate has start at 4,500 a night and 2,700 a night there after not counting if the baby is in the NICU or mom has complications after delivery

still i wonder, how do these people earn their money? why is this family "royal" what do they do ? Just collect tax money from all the residents of England and live off it lavishly? and make up rules for everyone to follow? seriously, how do they earn their money?

Re: Lisa1023 – The Royal Family don't actually make the laws up, our Parliament does that, and has done for a very long time, as for the rest of it, I have no idea

We're still paying off my child's birth, he's 16 months old. They charge $25 for each pain pill. The cost adds up.

Re: Lisa1023 – you aren't very bright are you The UK which is England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales is a common wealth and also has other countries that are territories like Australia and Canada. the Royal family is royal because of Bloodlines and inbreeding having a baby isn't a cheap proposition

No offence but do Americans understand that in the UK we have NHS?? This means we do not pay hospitals!! The royal family take a % of everybody's taxes to do what exactly?? Oh MY God!! This is a massive amount of money in the UK to pay for a baby…and it's not coming out their pockets…it's us!! Tax payers!! We are paying for this!! If the USA wants the royal family, you guys can have them. Might let us keep some more money to feed our families before these lot!!
