Being a single parent is tough, and Connie Britton is starting to sense what trials she’s going to encounter.
The actress was recently asked about the leading man in her life, son Eyob, and what it’s like raising him solo. She said:
"Until I find that perfect man in my life, there's going to be all these 'man things' that I'm not going to have any idea how to impart to him. That part is scary."
Connie has already expressed how challenging it’s been to raise a baby while still filming her show Nashville, but now that she’s on a break, she has more time to focus on Eyob, which means trying to be hip! LOLz! She explained:
"He's so young yet none of this feels like a reality to me, but I have a feeling that have a son, its just going to be tricky in a different way. I do aspire to be the 'cool mom.' I'm sure I'll probably end up just being embarrassing. This summer he's grown up so much and he's become quite a swimmer so that's been very exciting.”
Well, if he’s already swimming, and is healthy and happy then we’d say she’s doing a fantastic job, even without a father figure!
