Brooke Mueller May Get Her Kids Back After All!

| Filed under: DrugsDenise RichardsCharlie SheenRehabCeleb KidzPerezcious ParentingDysfunctional Families

Even though Denise Richards is getting ready to make her case to keep these delightful kids forever - Brooke Mueller will always be the birth mother of Bob and Max, and therefore will get a chance to keep the kids she actually popped out!

L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services Officials are apparently considering reinstating some of Brooke's custodial rights, but only if she proves her mettle during the next six to twelve months.

Brooke, who is in a live-in rehab, has to consistently attend AA and NA meetings. She must also follow all of the orders her doctors tell her, and prove she can handle everyday life without falling apart. She will also have to keep up a relationship with her children via Skype while she is away in rehab.

L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services Officials will monitor Brooke Mueller very closely to determine if she's following the strict guidelines. If she doesn't - she'll be back where she started in six or twelve months.

But if she aces all of her tests? She may gets her two boys back.

As for any reports that Brooke left rehab with a boyfriend, those were apparently all false. She's been in a rehab since the day she lost her children.

Sounds like this momma has a chance to redeem herself. Sometimes that's all some people need - a chance!!!

For the sake of the future of these children, I hope they do not give them back to a woman who struggles with addiction issues and clearly isn't coping well. Hopefully they do not jeopardize their safety, future, and health because she MIGHT stay/get clean.

Too many children are taken without cause. In this case, there was a reason to put them in foster care. However, if mom can get her act together and stay sober, there's no reason she shouldn't get them back. It should be a shared custody situation though, so that someone is watching and can take care of the kids if there's a problem. Preferably without involving CPS. They're just a bunch of vultures who want to adopt kids out for the money.

The way DCFS county works Perez, is they gradually give back custody at each of the 6, 12, and 18 month hearings. We all are watching this because LA County is so corrupt, many parents do what is court ordered only to be screwed by the court system and DCFS. I also know the office who is handling their case and it's a bunch of celebrity stalkers, trust me, I had to hear all the gossip regarding Brittany and Jackson's from that dept.

At any rate, it will all boil down to the permanency planning hearing at 18 mos, if she keeps using, children will go into guardianship with Denise and then DCFS is out of the picture and Denise and Charlie can let her see or not see child at any time. Considering she is a celebrity, I'm sure DCFS will be on it's toes and most likely give her family all the due process rights they so blatently break with us normal folk. If you don't see her getting unmonitored visits at 6 mos or even 12, she most definitely won't be getting kids back. Also under guardianship, Brooke will have the ability to file a 388 and get her children back, but she would have to prove that circumstances have changed AND that it is in the best interest of the children, blah blah. Caselaw in California says 9 mos clean and sober is enough to prove a change in circumstances.
