The Hollywood High School choir H2O were extremely disappointed when they took an early exit from The X Factor, but now they're saying they were set up for failure from the very beginning!
The disgruntled group of teenaged singers were shooting a segment for the show, and apparently they say the producers set up tons of hoops for them to jump through. First, they say they were rehearsing their performance of Some Nights by fun. when they were told the song was not approved to be used.
The group decided to go with their backup plan, Rolling In The Deep by Adele, but producers said that was a no-go as well! So H2O was forced to settle with Shake It Out by Florence and The Machine, which didn't exactly go so well.
When the group finally got a chance to perform in front of the judges, they said Simon Cowell cut them short and asked why they were wearing street clothes instead of their uniforms. It might have had something to do with the producers telling them to NOT wear their uniforms!
H2O also says they weren't given any time to rehearse, were not given enough microphones, and had to wait 14 hours before they were able to perform!!
The show claims that none of the allegations are true, but if they are, it sounds like they didn't make it easy on the high schoolers!
Maybe they should have gone with that Beastie Boys song about sabotage! You know, No Sleep till Brooklyn! LOLz!
