Usher's Ex Wife Tameka Foster Files For Custody Of Sons After Near Drowning Pool Incident!

| Filed under: Legal MattersUsherFamilyCeleb KidzPerezcious Parenting

Everyone was so concerned for Usher's son Usher Raymond V after he almost drowned in a pool on Monday afternoon.

Luckily it looks like the little man will be okay, but now his dad is in some hot water with his ex wife!

Tameka Foster has filed the necessary legal paperwork in Fulton County, Ga. and is asking for an emergency custody hearing.

Foster is claiming that Usher is creating a dangerous environment for their two sons by allowing other people to watch over them - people that Tameka claims are unfit to be looking after their children!!

As of this moment Usher has primary custody of their two boys whereas Tameka has limited custodial rights, but we're sure the mother will ask the judge at the hearing to give her way more rights!

Usher, though, is still trying to wrap his head around what happened to his son.

Here's what a source said:

"This was a tragic, unfortunate accident. He is just so relieved that Junior is OK. He was shaken to hear the news but just so relieved."

We hope these two are able to figure out something without it dragging on in court.

We're sure that is the last thing that anyone wants!!

It was an ACCIDENT…does she forget she lost a son when he was in HER custody. She wants the boys so she has more money.

I hate to say it, but I'm starting to feel that none of Usher's kids should be allowed near water. So much tragedy has happened :(

Usher's mom was right about Tameka. Usher should've listened to his mom. Tameka already had one son die in her custody. So, why would a Court award her custody as the better parent? Apparently, she had the wrong people around her son, as well. How about this. . .why don't the PARENTS watch their own kids and quit blaming others for the accidents & tragedies that keep happening to their kids?!

Five kids and custody of none? hmmmmm. Accidents can happen to any child. $he just wants to climb on the gravy train again which increased custody will give her.

This would have been tragic for her if something happened to the child because she lost her other child last year in a water accident, but she is definitely a gold digger. Thank God the boy is ok.

please stay the hell away from water or hire a full time life guard. I live on Lake Michigan, make sure your children are properly trained swimmers and are supervised on the water. Lake Michigan has a very dangerous under-toe, no matter how well you're trained or how old you are you have to pay attention always to weather conditions. parents have to be really PRO-ACTIVE in all things concerning water. Get the kids a life-jacket for heavens sake.

I can of coarse see why she is shaken up, but It was a accident and I don't by any means think Usher is a Bad parent. As for them watching their own kids I'm sure they do but let's face it you have to work go do things so everyone not just Celebs leave their kids in other peoples care.. It was just a scary accident. Thank Gosh he's ok!

I've heard of this 'child's hand/arm caught in a pool drain' before. When I was little, it happened to me, but I managed to pull my hand out at the very limit of my oxygen and got to the surface on my own. Kids are endlessly curious, so drains need very small screens so that nothing, not even a wee finger, can be poked into it.
