This is absolutely frightening. We can't believe there are people out there like this, especially young kids.
The disturbing story about the three teens arrested for killing the Australian college baseball player out of boredom just keeps getting worse and worse. Christopher Lane did NOT deserve to die that day, and we are heartbroken for his family and loved ones.
James Edwards, 15, Chancey Luna, 16, have done an atrocious thing, and there are now reports of the teens 'dancing' and 'laughing' after being caught and accused of the first degree murder. All of this is goes for their friend Michael Jones, 17, who is charged with being an accessory to the crime and driving the getaway car, as well.
According to new information, the teens had a history of 'hating white people' and one of them even boasted about beating up 5 white people after the Zimmerman verdict. Edwards even 'danced and laughed' in the county jail, showing no remorse while Jones, admitted their role in the crime — and here's what the police chief said was said:
'In his words it was no big deal. Jones told us straight away, "yeah, we did it", but that's all we got from him on Friday night. He didn't say anything for a while after, then on Sunday we got a call from the jailhouse that he had something to tell us.'
The families and parents of the boys have been supportive of them, regardless of their actions. The family has also been showing a lot of emotion in the courtroom, including some members having to leave being so distraught.
The families aren't the only ones dealing with the fallout from this, either — the boys' high school was even put on lockdown following threats. Here's what the school said about that:
'This evening, we were informed by the Duncan Police Department of anonymous threats involving Duncan High School. The credibility of the person or persons communicating the threats is very difficult to ascertain. However, we want to be proactive in taking reasonable precautions.'
It's time to cut this violent shizz out! It solves NOTHING, and there needs to be some serious change in this world!
We are SO SORRY for Christopher Lane, his family, and his friends. The actions against him were horrendous, and not a single person on the planet deserves the hand he was dealt.
The problem is finding a solution, now, so that this doesn't happen again. And until we do, we really fear this isn't the last story of its kind.
