Talk about a pleasant surprise!

It was recently announced that Gwen Stefani is pregnant with her third child.

Now, the No Doubt singer & her hubby Gavin Rossdale are reportedly thrilled with the news.

But they were totally not expecting and/or planning to have another baby!

Here's what a source said:

“Gwen and Gavin were shocked. They weren’t trying — it just happened. She started feeling sick a month ago, so she took a test. They’re ecstatic!”

We bet they're ecstatic! They're about to add another child into the world who will most likely have perfect hair!

Gwen is apparently "dying" for a girl so the boy-girl ratio in her family will be a little more even, but we're sure no matter what - she'll love that baby a whole lot! No doubt about it!

A big congratulations to this awesome family again!!!

Given their ages, it's kinda good to hear they weren't actually trying for a baby. Nowadays there are ways to find out early on in the pregnancy if something's wrong with the kid, but to me it's just a little weird that some people would want to raise a toddler in their fifties and a teenager in their sixties.

Re: shaygirl1309 – that nanny was gavin's sister and his hand was on the small of her back so…

They shouldn't be too surprised. Regular ovulation, no birth control, a healthy sex life could equal…..pregnancy!!!! Shocking I know, but yeah, it can happen.

Re: Jessica – Why is that strange? Not all 50+ year olds are fat lazy fucks fermenting on a couch with an allergy to bodily energy expenditures and sweat. My dad had his first of many kids when he was a kid and his last as a senior (numerous wives over the decades). People use to joke around that they couldnt figure out which of his kids were his grandkids, kids or greatGrand children (because he bred across a tremendously wide span of years). He handled older fatherhood like a champ.

Re: GoogooBaaBaaSheep – Well Googoo, not all of us can exercize. I personally have a fractured vertebrae in my lower back and have to walk with a cane and use wheelchair assist at airports. So do not be so broad to categorize. I would love to be able to walk, but it is not going to happen in this lifetime even if I had back surgery (which I am not willing to do - my sister had it and still has to walk with a cane).

Re: Heather – - Isn't she 44? She won't be in her fifties with a toddler. She will be in her (early) sixties with a teenager, but that's the way it goes. Personally, I couldn't imagine being a really young mother with a toddler. I didn't have the patience then, even if I needed less sleep!

Re: Jessica – - I just googled this (not having heard of it) and that was apparently Gavin's sister.
