Jon Gosselin Pulls A Gun On A Paparazzo!

jon gosselin fires off a warning shot

This isn't Los Angeles or New York City!

This is out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere Pennsylvania!!! The rules are different there!

A total bada$$ Jon Gosselin apparently wants all unwelcome visitors to stay OFF his property! And he'll use whatever means necessary to accomplish that!

So when a lone photographer visited his cabin in the woods hoping for an exclusive photograph - Jon whipped out a firearm and shot a warning shot away from her!

But, Jon defended himself by saying:

"I am licensed to carry a concealed handgun, which I withdrew and used to fire a warning shot AWAY from the paparazza. It is well within my rights under Pennsylvania law when someone is trespassing on private property."

The lady paparazzo though did not appreciate any kind of gun shot - even if it wasn't aimed at her.

She apparently filed a police report, but Jon doesn't seem worried. He actually thinks she broke the law by trespassing on his property!

Like we mentioned before - if this happened in a major city, we'd think the law would side with the photographer.

But in Nowhere, Pennsylvania? We're pretty sure Jon is going to be found in the right!

Yep! You can't just walk onto someone's property trying to take pictures of them, good grief! She's lucky she didn't get shot, all he would have to claim is her camera looked like a gun to him. Idiot woman.

I never watched his reality show but if he's living in a secluded area to get privacy, why are you walking all over his private property to get a photo? I don't get how these paparazzi can break the law, jump over peoples gates and use long lense cameras to take private photos of someone in their house and not be arrested for it. So bizarre. They must be paying off the LAPD.

they were gonna arrest the photog, the way it should be. dumb ass woman.

It is not ok to tresspass on someones property, shooting at her is a little over the top though and i doubt he felt threatened by her, i have very little respect for him…But he is within his rights and she should be more aware….Here in "nowhere" Pennsylvaia we try to respect others property and that should be a rule no matter where you live.

He is correct. A person is allowed to draw their firearm and point it at someone if they trespass on private property. Now a warning shot, may be a different story. But it's unlikely he'll get into any major trouble. In most states, if you break into someones home you're allowed to use lethal force.

Living in no where PA, I agree with what John did. The cops told us once, "Make sure you fire a warning shot first. And that both of their feet are firmly in your house before you shoot them." You go, John!

John is in his right to shoot the idiot after the warning shot. You just can't go into somebody's private property. Those stupid celebrities complaining about paps can learn a thing or two from this incident. You choose to live in LA and NY well that's what you get there.

That does not look like Kate in the pic. I think it is Lara Spencer. Right or wrong?

Good for him, but Perez, you are a day late on this story. Guess that is what happens when you let your staff take off early on the weekends, I would have fired a shot myself.

Nice going, ass clown, insult all the people who live in Pennsylvania and find it a great place to be that offers a lot to residents. You are a fucking moron. LA and NYC are toilets, and you're part of what pollutes them, loser.
