However, one person not happy with the fact that everyone knew about it before she had a chance to announce it, and that one person is Zoe herself!

It’s pretty well known by now that Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, has been a yoga instructor for years.
Well, she put all of her knowledge to good use and made a Fit Mommy-to-Be Prenatal Yoga DVD while she was preggers to help out other expecting moms!
You can see a sneak peak of it (above) and Alec even makes a cameo to help with the partner stretches.
Vanity Fair got the chance to interview her about how she used yoga while pregnant and how it helped her in birth! Here are some HIGHlights:
How did doing yoga personally help you prepare for your birth?
I’m a big believer in yoga, obviously, but I didn’t really realize how lucky I was to have done yoga during pregnancy until my delivery. I pushed my baby out in 45 minutes, which is pretty good for a first-time mom. I think it was just because the core and pelvic muscles that you use during yoga were vital to the pushing momentum.
I also had a big baby. Carmen was a big baby.
Was it important for you to do yoga with Alec during your pregnancy?
I did most of my yoga on my own, but he definitely helped me out. And part of the DVD is partner stretches. He would do the three that we have on [the video below]. Aches and pains are a normal part of pregnancy, and he was really great at helping me alleviate them through yoga stretches.
What was it like to film something with him? Were you leading him?
Yeah! Sometimes I step into his world, and that was an example of him stepping into my world. He very much did what I wanted him to do. [Laughs.] I was the boss that day. We’re both very bossy people, and that day he let me be the boss.
What about your post-pregnancy workouts? Is there any sort of routine you’re doing now?
I started just doing very, very, light, light stretches. I’m careful to say that because I don’t want people to think I was on a yoga mat in my hospital room, but even in my hospital room I was aware of just flexing my feet, trying to get some circulation into my legs, because circulation promotes better healing. After delivering I took very slow walks down the hallway in the hospital.
Then I just started walking when I got home. My husband and I put the baby in the stroller. It was a beautiful day, and we went for a little walk. In a week I started doing yoga on my own, very light stretching. Then I returned to classes about a week and half of postpartum, almost at the two-weeks mark. I did that because I’m someone who knows my body very well. I’ve been dancing since I was two years old.
We’ve seen Hilaria all around Manhattan since giving birth to Carmen and it seems like the yoga really helped her to not miss a beat!
From the looks of the preview, this is something that all pregnant ladies should try. After all, a healthy baby is a happy baby, and the same goes for mom too!
