Duck Dynasty's Willie and Korie Robertson Barely Had Enough Money To Adopt Their Son! They Used An IOU!
These two are rolling in dough now, but it wasn't always that way!
When Duck Dynasty's Willie and Korie Robertson adopted their son Will, they didn't have the money for the adoption fee at first!
But the reality star Willie told the agency that they didn't have the money now, but they were totally good for it later!
"We said, 'We're good for it – we'll come back.' We've paid it, by the way."
Lolz! We're so glad that these two didn't let their finances get in the way of adopting a son. And it sounds like both of them believe adoption was the best decision they've ever made!
Here's what Willie said:
"I've done a lot of cool things in the past couple of years, I've been to Super Bowls, I've met Presidents – but the best decision we ever made – that made the biggest impact on our life was the adoption of our son Will."
Here's what Korie said:
"There shouldn't be kids without homes. It just shouldn't happen. From the moment we found out about him, he was ours. I swear, I had labor pains the night before I went and picked him up at the foster home he was living at. He's our child, just like our biological children."
Aww! That's so sweet!
Adoption is one of the greatest acts a person can do on this Earth, and we hope more people follow these reality stars' lead!
