Let's get this royal party started!
Prince George has announced his presence on the scene with his parents for his royal christening at St. James's Palace! His naughty red headed uncle Prince Harry arrived solo! The lovely prince's grandma Elizabeth ll also (obviously) was there along with Prince Philip to greet the very small list of attendees.
As you can tell — Prince George was wearing the most beautiful piece of clothing, and we have the details on it right here! It's a replica of a lace and satin christening gown made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, the Princess Royal, all the way back in the year 1841!
Talk about vintage!
The Queen loaned out her own personal dressmaker Angela Kelly to design the baby's beautiful replica gown! Such a nice grandmother!
The VERY selective ceremony was expected to be about 45 minutes long, and will feature 2 hymns and 2 lessons!
We've also learned that Prince George will be christened with water from the River Jordan!!!
After the ceremony, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall hosted a private tea session at Clarence House where the guests were also served some christening cake! Yummy!
There were more deets, including the exact time when the cake session took place, in this tweet:
The royals and their guests are now tucking into (defrosted) cake — it was a tier of William and Kate's wedding cake.

Earlier we reported that the list of whom Prince George's godparents are was announced, and that along with the fact that the Chapel Royal, which is where the royal christening took place, was where Prince William's mother Princess Diana's body was kept for five days after her death - this is indeed one extremely emotional and memorable day for everyone in the royal family!
Oh, and did we mention how CUTE Prince George is? We just want to squeeze those baby cheeks of his!!!
Check out his picture (above) and enjoy it as much as we did!
If that's even possible!!!
And, in the meantime, check out more pics of Prince George's arrival as well as the scene at the church (below)!
