Tears are streaming down our face because this is SO beautiful!
Darius Rucker, the man who helped start Hootie & the Blowfish and who is now a country star, interrupted a young student with Down Syndrome during his performance of Rucker's While I Still Got The Time in his school's talent show.
But he interrupted in the best of ways!
He and the young student named Frankie Antonelli proceeded to nail a duet together, and it was a very emotional moment indeed! Especially for everyone in that auditorium at Wando High School in South Carolina.
"Awesome time with my bud Frankie at last night's Wando High School talent show. Thanks for letting me sing with you"
Frankie's mom also tweeted:
"Frankie and @dariusrucker …like long time singin partners! Thx Darius! No one will ever kno how much u do for kids!"
And also wrote:
"Can't count how many people told us Frankie can't/won't because he has Down Syndome. WRONG! He can and will. Thanks @dariusrucker"
So SO sweet!
