Maybe that’s why momma made it into one of her daughter's music videos, to make it up to her! Ha!
Beyoncé doesn’t hold back in her songs, even when it comes to graphic bedroom, or should we say LIMO scenes!
But believe it or not, it’s still embarrassing for her to have her 59-year-old mom Tina Knowles hear some of the more graphic songs, even after all of these years.
The 32-year-old singer talked about the awkwardness of songs like her new hit Partition, where she says, “Driver roll up the partition please, I don't need you seeing 'yoncé on her knees…"
So, how did Queen Bey feel about the song after recording it?! She said:
"It takes me back to being in my car as a teenager. It takes me back to when me and my husband first meet, and he tries to scoop me and he thinks I'm the hottest thing in the world. I kinda had this whole fantasy of being in the car, and this whole movie played in my head. I didn't have a pen and paper. I got to the mic, I'm like, 'Oh, press Record.’ I was so embarrassed after I recorded the song because I'm just talking sh*t. I'm like, 'I can't play this for my husband!' I still haven't played it for my mom. She's going to be very mad at me."
Aww! We find it hard to believe that any parent could be too angry about their child expressing him or herself!
And thank you for bringing the realness, ‘Yonce!
