Tossing the pigskin around is something this daddy wants his sons to partake in!
Brad Pitt is apparently super encouraging his sons Maddox and Pax to play football.
Not soccer, mind you, but good ol' American football.
Which is the only game with a ball that Brad has ever really enjoyed!
“The only sport Brad himself has ever been personally passionate about — American football. Brad is definitely taking out his frustrations about not being as good a football player as he wanted to in high school on his sons, who are getting a real feel for the sport and starting to get to the age where they watch games with their dad. It’s an experience that comes right out of his upbringing and what he sees going on with his extended family. He wants these two boys not just to play team sports like football, but to succeed at a higher level than he did.”
Brad had personally made his Missouri football team back in his youth "but was always a bench warmer”. Not only that but he had to watch "his friends [who] went on to make the All-State team.”
But football isn't the only sport Brad is encouraging his boys to play!
Rugby is another! Especially when the family is down under!
Here's what a source said:
“He’s introduced them to an array of sports. While in Australia they’ve been watching rugby and the boys have been playing a less violent version of it on the beach.”
That's good that it isn't violent!
We think if the boys want to play football - then that should be fine.
As long as they want to do it, and it's not Brad just pushing them in that direction.
And also as long as they're safe!!!
