high school kids give back to woman who waves at them everyday

If your faith in today's youth isn't restored by the end of this post, then there's something seriously wrong!

Meet Tinney Davidson, an 84-year-old woman from Comox, British Columbia who began waving to children as they pass by everyday on their way to school!

The tradition began back in 2007 with her late husband Ken Davidson when they noticed the youngsters looking into their home! Even after he passed away a couple of years ago, Tinney continued to wave at the students in an attempt to brighten up their days!

Well the high schoolers definitely took notice and decided to show her just how much she means to them by inviting her Highland Seconday School on Valentine's Day! When Tinney arrived, she was showered with homemade cards and shown a video of students thanking her for all of the love she's shown them over the years!

Can someone get us a box of tissues over here?!?

Comox is on Vancouver Island about half way up on the east side facing the Straight of Georgia waterway, and facing the rest of B.C.

Re: teeter totter – Maybe someone will help her mow her lawn when it gets too long along with helping her weed and water. I bet she makes cookies.

So proud of being from the Comox Valley. I grew up in Cumberland and Courtenay which are 20 min and 10 mins respectively from Comox. I love seeing my Valley in the news for a good reason. (and Pamela Anderson grew up in Comox, in case you didn't know ;) )
