Well, we'll be damned.

Who would've thought the cure for nyctophobia would come from North Dakota??
Well, it did — and it came from a pharmacist who was trying to help out a little girl. How'd she do it?
She prescribed a bottle of Monster Spray for her!
That hero's name is Austin Johnson, and she works at Barrett Pharmacy in Watford City. She noticed her friend’s 6-year-old daughter didn’t want to go to bed because of the "monsters" in her bedroom, and that it had been happening for a few nights.
Here's what Austin said:
“I was telling her mom about this thing the pharmacy had done for another kid when I started working there. So I asked if she wanted me to write up the prescription. I had to put it in the prescription bottle. She wouldn’t have believed it if it hadn’t come from the pharmacy with the label."
Apparently Austin has done this for a handful of children with similar fears!
The best part?
The little girl used it for three nights before she felt like she kicked the monsters out for good!
We love the fact that Austin isn't trying to market this, and that it's just a sweet thing she does for kids in need of a good night sleep! We're sure other greedy people out there are trying to do just that!
Austin, we love you!
