Now that's a poem!
Beyoncé recently appeared in a new fashion spread for CR Fashion Book, but it wasn't her flawless looks that had our attention.
We already knew all about that!
Are you ready to get schooled about love from the Duggar girls?!
Four of the 20 Duggar children, from the show 19 Kids and Counting, have written a memoir about their family, and they talk about love and marriage too!
They've already given us the low-down on not kissing your fiance until marriage, but the rest of these tips - oh boy - this is something for the record books!
Since we know you’ve been DYING to find out how to pick a man Duggar-style, we have some of Jana, Jill, Jessa and Jinger Duggar's best and worst tips in the book.
No porn - “Viewing pornography gives [men] a distorted view of women that leads them down the path of immorality and guilt.” Ya, porn can be destructive, but is it realistic and fair to think that people won’t watch it? According to studies, 1/4th of the population has porn on their smartphone. Also, “50% of all Christian men and 20% of all christian women say they are addicted to pornography.” That means half of the Duggar men, and 1/5th of the Duggar women, since they’re Christian, are likely adding images to their spank bank.
Don’t try to change the person - “Many girls think they can alter a guy at the altar. Very rarely does that work!” This is according to Granny Duggar, and by golly, she’s right! If you don’t love the person outright, why waste your time?
If you have sex, you will get
pregnantan STD and die - “If [physical intimacy] is done prematurely or with multiple partners, the very thing that was created to bring joy can bring sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV, herpes and human papillomavirus (HPV), which can cause infertility, cervical cancer and a life sentence of pain and suffering.” Well, that’s science, and yes, STDs happen, but don’t make it sound like people who have sex with more than one person automatically get a disease!
Forgiveness is key - “Two main keys to maintaining a strong marriage are being willing to say ‘I was wrong’ and asking ‘Will you please forgive me.’” We can’t argue with this! Relationships are two sided, so forgiveness is a must!
Women liking men is ‘normal’ - “God has created us to have a natural physical desire toward men. When these feelings arise, we thank God for making us ‘normal.’” Why do people use the word ‘normal’ so insensitively?! ‘We thank God for making us ‘normal’”?! Really?! Feel free to join 2014 any time now…
Men aren’t perfect - “Even the best men will mess up, and if we’re relying on them to be perfect, we will become bitter and disillusioned when they don’t measure up.” Preach! But, to be fair, no one is perfect, man or woman. Not even you, Duggars.
