Such a strange coincidence.
Paul Walker's mother Cheryl, who wants custody of his daughter Meadow, apparently was asked by her late son to quit her nursing job to take care of Meadow full time.
That happened on November 30th - the day that Paul Walker passed away.
The reason that Paul Walker apparently asked this of his mother was because of his extremely booked work schedule, and that fact that he was feeling overwhelmed from his career and his duties as a parent.
He knew that his daughter couldn't stay with her mother, who is an alcoholic, and decided his own mother would be the best fit.
Meadow had already moved in with Cheryl in August, three months before Paul passed, and Paul had determined to make it a permanent thing after a series of nannies didn't pan out.
Right before his death, Paul Walker made his momma the offer of being a full time guardian, and she accepted. He apparently called other family member on that day to reveal to them the news.
Cheryl has filed the necessary paperwork in court that would allow her to become Meadow's permanent guardian. We're not sure how Meadow's own mother Rebecca Soteros will respond.
Will she agree that this will be the best thing for the daughter? Or will she put up a legal fight?
Only time will tell.
