However, one person not happy with the fact that everyone knew about it before she had a chance to announce it, and that one person is Zoe herself!

Back when we heard about this child's heartbreaking story in October, we thought it would only be a matter of days before he was adopted.
After all, the story went viral, plus it was obvious how special of a kid he was.
However, we're now hearing that Davion Navar Henry Only has yet to be adopted - a full six months after he went in front of a local church and pleaded with one of them to adopt him. After that appearance, 10,000 people apparently called his foster home to ask about Davion, and yet he's still there - how does that happen?
It was reported that Davion was due to spend time with a prospective family this past December, but apparently that family had NO plans of adopting him.
Davion's 22-year-old mentor Richard Prince had this to say:
"Something doesn't seem right. I pray about it. He's changed schools and foster homes, and he's not allowed to tell me certain things. People want to hear a happy ending, but it's not too clear what's going on."
Something fishy seems to definitely be going on. Of the 10,000 calls inquiring about Davion, only 2,500 were returned. Hundreds of people say they can not get in touch with Eckerd Community Alternatives which is the adoption agency in charge of Davion.
However before anyone thinks some conspiracy is going on to prevent this inspiring child from being adopted, hold on to that thought.
The spokesperson for Eckerd Terri Durdaller says the adoption process takes a lot of time. She said:
"This is a step by step progression that takes time and our first priority is ensuring that Davion builds a strong relationship and has a successful adoption with his forever family. Eckerd is bound by strict confidentiality requirements that don’t allow us to share specific information about children in foster care or their case plans."
That "progression" though can sometimes take up to 9-12 months!
However the news isn't all dire. It's been reported that Davion plans to spend time with a family for spring break for a week, and if things go well - that could be his permanent home.
We truly hope this family and Davion discover each other to be a perfect fit. This kid is way too special to feel so alone!
