Oh gosh, we have a feeling this comment is going to cause A LOT of controversy.
Spoiler alert: Keeks answer might shock you!
The 34-year-old explained to Australian radio outlet, 92.9:
Better late than never, we guess!
A school district in Georgia held its first integrated prom this weekend because…we’re assuming they finally realized what year it was!
It wasn’t until last year when kids of all colors began demanding a prom for EVERYONE! And they got one, when students organized their own prom that wasn’t officially held by their school.
This year however, school administrators learned something from these teens and organized the event that allowed any and all students, no matter what their race, to attend!
As happy of an ending as this might sound, one student said some teachers weren’t so open to the idea of black students and white students going to prom together!
Mareshia Rucker explained:
"I'm absolutely sure that there are teachers that are still in the system right now that are at my school and they still don't want an integrated prom.”
Well guess what, they can go suck an egg because the Wilcox County High prom went off without a hitch!
Congratz kids on teaching your teachers a lesson on getting with the times!
