For the sake of her sanity, we hope her song about never getting back together doesn't apply to her parents!
Because the two of them are driving her nuts!
Or at least that's what we're hearing these days as Taylor Swift has been stretched thin by her parents' rumored separation.
Although Scott and Andrea Swift have always been thoroughly demanding on their daughter throughout her career, their criticisms have seemed to have gotten worse since they supposedly took a break from each other.
Both have always been “difficult and controlling stage parents,” but their intensity about taking these roles super seriously has been turned up a notch lately!
Here's what a source said:
“Taylor’s parents are incredibly difficult to deal with. Their expectations are enormous, and they are very hard to please. They want to pay as little as possible and treat people like s–t, because they think those people are lucky to have the chance to work with a superstar like Taylor. Taylor’s parents think they can do things better, and what makes things complicated is that they no longer live together. They are not on the same page and don’t even like to be in the same room. Andrea requests that her husband not be present at meetings. Taylor is incredibly smart and professional, but at some point she’s going to need her parents to stop, before it turns into a total Katherine Heigl ‘momager’ situation.”
Taylor's parents were married in 1988, and have supposedly put off divorce “because they don’t want to damage Taylor’s career." But maybe they should take that divorce leap for two reasons.
1. It might make them HAPPIER, making Taylor's life easier.
2. We doubt a divorce would damage Taylor's career!
If anything, it might make her seen more sympathetic in the public eye!
Besides the Swifties are never going anywhere! They'll keep Taylor's career going, and going, and going!
