Talia Ogden is a three-year-old girl who suffered a devastating injury.
She was accidentally shot in the neck by a gun owned by her parents!!
It's very confusing as to what actually led to the gun going off, but a gun was fired in the Ogden home and the bullet hit Talia. The cops are still trying to piece together what happened.
The bullet that struck Talia nicked the left side of her spinal cord, leaving her paralyzed from the neck down according to doctors.
But Talia is strong and has made a miraculous recovery! She was released from the hospital with a tracheotomy tube and ventilator for when she sleeps. She takes medicine and needs daily physical therapy.
But guess what… she's started whispering, moving her arms and even twitching her legs sometimes!
She's even begun to feed herself! A family friend said:
"She's feeding herself, she's holding her own cup to drink and she's doing art. Her whole personality has changed. She's outgoing, she smiles and she dances."
It's a legit miraculous recovery and we hope she can one day walk on her own again.
This little girl's whole life is ahead of her, we hope it's a good one.
So glad she's doing so much better! It really is a miracle!
