Knowledge is power!
One of the greatest documentarians in the world, Ken Burns, has a new project that's both insightful and heartwarming!
The Greenwood School in Putney, Vermont has made it its yearly goal of having their students memorize Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, and the doc features one specific class of students!
The class that The Address follows has learning disabilities — including speech and language defects.
Will they overcome and learn these difficult words that would even give children without learning impairments trouble?
We don't want to spoil anything for all of y'all, but we're guessing this movie WILL have a happy ending!
We mean, even Burns said he:
"…wept like a baby at the heroic, the inspirational nature of these guys escaping the specific gravity of their learning differences."
