roger rodas who died alongside paul walker in fiery crash left one million dollars in life insurance money to his kids

Both these guys left families behind when they perished in a fiery car wreck last November, but at least they both also made sure their families were in good financial shape!

Roger Rodas was the driver of the car that Paul Walker was in when it crashed and burned, taking two lives way before their time.

And while Paul was a mega superstar who left millions to his daughter Meadow, Rodas left his family with some money, too.

Well, not just a little actually. Rodas had a $1,000,000 life insurance policy in case anything ever happened to him, and that money will now go to his young children.

The mother of the 10-year-old and the 12-year-old, Kristine Rodas, has filed for guardianship of her children, so she can help them use that money to prepare for their future.

We're glad that Roger Rodas had the presence of mind to make sure his kids were set — financially speaking — for the future.
