We guess the mom is going to rehab! Definitely a good thing!
The late Paul Walker's mother Cheryl Ann Walker has dropped her bid to become her granddaughter Meadow's guardian.
She had originally planned to take Meadow's mother Rebecca Soteros to court to determine who would be the daughter's guardian, and also the guardian of Paul Walker's estate.
But she previously has said that she would only drop the bid if Rebecca would agree to go to rehab - which we guess is what happened as the grandmother's attorney has declared they will settle the matter out of court.
We might never know!
Cheryl Ann was nervous about Meadow living with her mother, and claimed in legal papers that her "parental custody would be detrimental to the minor" because of Rebecca's alleged drinking woes.
But rather than put everyone through a lengthy court battle so soon after Paul Walker's demise, Rebecca must've decided to go to rehab to appease the grandmother.
And we guess it worked! It's always a great thing when two parties resolve their differences without the "help" of the court.
We wish nothing but the best for this family. They've gone through enough!
