It's sad, but usually the victims in a bitter divorce case are the children.
Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy are in the midst of an massive divorce, and this latest twist could have a huge impact on the child's custody status.
The separated couple's three-year-old daughter Bryn was ordered by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ellen Gesmer on March 28th to undergo a neutral forensic evaluation.
In addition to this, both Jason and Bethenny will have to hand over any mental and health records they have to the specialist.
If Bryn seems to favor either of her parents during this evaluation, that would most likely be a huge boon for the parent that she favors.
This might have been avoided if the two parents could've come to any sort of custody agreement before this verdict, but as one source put it:
“Jason would like to get the divorce and custody settled, once and for all but Bethenny is making it impossible.”
Sad that Bryn is forced to participate in this, but hey - psychiatry might actually prove to be a beneficial thing for her.
After all - it's SO hard on children to see their parents fight it out like this.!
No matter how young they are!
