This is incredible.
One of the sweetest four-year-old girls ever goes by the name of Emma Lavelle, and unfortunately this lil' darling was born with a rare neuromuscular condition that makes it impossible for her to move or lift her arms.
Luckily for the little girl from Wilmington, Delaware, she had a mom - Megan Lavelle - who would NOT give up on finding a solution! Something which she absolutely did when she went to a conference recently for families like hers.
This device allows Emma to hug her mom, draw, and so many more things she's yet to experience! The super creative girl calls them her "magic arms".
Nearly 75 children are using the device these days says the director of the hospital where the "magic arms" were created.
The director of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children said:
"To see these children who can't use their arms and then within a few hours this device lets them is just amazing. It makes not only a massive impact on the child but the family as well. It's extraordinary."
Extraordinary DEFINITELY the case! You could also make the argument for miraculous!
