Oprah Winfrey Put On Blast By Her Own Stepmom! Find Out What Shocking Things She Said HERE!

Well, we guess she's just fine with not being her stepmother anymore!

Why else would she be so candid??

Oprah Winfrey's former stepmother Barbara Winfrey, who was married to Oprah's dad Vernon for fourteen years, had some words to say about the television icon.

And they were NOT nice!

Here's what she recently said:

“You find out quickly where your place is with Oprah. And you get in that place, and you stay in that place. My crime, I think, was to talk to her like a normal person — and she didn’t like that one bit. Her brand is that she’s a nice, caring, generous, giving person — that’s not how it is — she’s controlling, it’s all about control.”

Yeesh. We've met Oprah, and we don't really buy it!

Still, the stepmother also recalled a visit to Oprah's place in Prairie, Indiana. And her claims regarding Oprah will most likely shock you!

Here's what she said about her visit:

“That first night, she didn’t have anything to say to us hardly at all; she wasn’t warm at all. [The next morning] Oprah got on to the intercom and announced, ‘Negroes in the house. Negroes in the house!’ She thought it was funny; I thought it was insulting. I’m older than her. I know what it means. She was reminding us of our low class.”

Wow! That sounds horrible! Although obviously we have no idea if Oprah actually said this. It definitely doesn't fit with the personality that she shows the world!

Guess what? The stepmother has an explanation for that, too! According to her, Oprah makes all of her friends and family sign confidentiality agreements! Barbara said:

“She has confidentiality agreements with pretty much everybody in her life.‎ She has them sign their life away and she has them in her pocket — everything comes with stipulations, but she doesn’t tell you that and she doesn’t tell you what they are.”

These antagonistic feelings may stem from the fact that Oprah is attempting to evict Barbara from the house that she used to live in with Oprah's father. But that relationship dissolved two years ago, and now Oprah wants Barbara out of the house. The problem is that Barbara claims she never knew about that stipulation until Oprah sprung it on her!

She said:

“It was a new home so we got to choose every part of it. We signed so many documents, became part of the Housing Association. I was thankful of course. I never knew it was Oprah’s name on the deeds and that I was just on probation. I’m trying to keep it together but there are some days I just don’t understand how I could have made her so angry that she would kick me out on the street and think nothing about it. But that’s Oprah – she’s judge and jury.”

A rep for Oprah says that Barbara has put herself in this position, and Oprah has given her many opportunities to figure out the housing situation before reluctantly filing legal papers to evict the former stepmother. The rep said:

“As part of the divorce proceedings, Barbara Winfrey was offered the Chateaue Valley home free and clear to live with her family and she chose not to accept it. The next offer was to sell the residence on Willowbooke Circle and split the proceeds equally, which she also turned down. After several requests to voluntarily vacate the property at Willowbrooke Circle, the appropriate paperwork has been filed to have her vacate the property. A 60 day extension has been granted.”

We're sure there's going to be much information on this story in the next few weeks, so buckle your seat belts, folks!

It's going to be a bumpy ride!

Oprah is one nasty piece of business
She truly believes she is better than other people, and is entitled to special treatment
I saw this first hand on two occasions on Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, when she had a condo on Fisher Island
The confidentiality agreement is standard with many celebs, but she takes it to a new level,
I hope Barbara keeps chipping away at her, maybe even sue Oprah

I believe what she says about Oprah's brand. Oprah did not get to where she is now by being a nice, caring, generous person. It is definitely all about control. If Oprah did buy her father a home - why is it still in her name? That sounds like a controlling person - not a generous one.

After how she lashed out about the incident in this Switzerland shop and pulled the racist card - she lost the littlest trust I ever had in her - she seems to be nothing like a bitch and bitter about having the wrong colour of skin

Well Duh. Most of us saw through her years ago. Some of us are not stupid enough to fall on our knees in awe of self-entitled, self-centered celebrities.

Isn't Oprah bankrolling the house the woman lives in? Sure, Oprah believes in free speech, but after enough alleged badmouthing, almost anyone would want to sell THEIR house that the chatty woman lives in. The woman should have signed the alleged paper to keep quiet and keep living in the house. Family ingrates are hard to take.

I hope this wont distract from her making her next racist movie
about how poor blacks have been the victim of the greedy white man
In Chicago her hometown, 48 shooting last weekend alone, blacks killing blacks
and Oprah who promised she would never leave that town, has packed up and move her big black ass to LaLa Land

Re: Fitzzz – Are we talking about one American black person or to almost all the American black people?

Re: @v@ – Apparently that's how she gets people to keep quiet. She supports her father - but everything is in her name. She can pull the rug out from under at any time if he talks.

I loved Oprah so much!!! That was until my sisters friend who worked in a restaurant she was having lunch in, and overheard her say black people are lazy!!! I wanted to cry!!! I couldn't believe it, but my sisters friend was a huge fan of Oprah, so I know she wasn't lying, she even wanted to cry!!!

Re: rosebud99 – If someone's being kind enough to bankroll your life, you could keep your chatter within the family circle at least.

Re: @v@ – True. But it does show that her generosity comes with a price.

Vernon is her daddy, and he was the daddy of the baby she aborted , is that the picture?
Than somehow being not very attractive she went on to become Miss Tennessee , I'M guessing Vernon taught her a few tricks that caught the judges attention
My hat is off to Oprah for a fat lady from Tennessee she sure did show them crackers

Re: Tee – OH PLLLEASE! Don't act like if you doesn't understand the meaning of the thing..

Oh Perez… you thik she could not possibly be anything but nice and all that crap because you drink her loolaide and would lick maggots off her feet if she told you to. You never see peopel for what they are until they finally do something to you, or they no longer like you or have a use for you. As long as you put her on a sky high pedestal she will be tolerant of you. The "real" O is not the idol you make her out to be.

  18. 18

And PErez… your almight O was in an office I worked in once waiting for a meeting. She saw an african-american/black woman walking downthe hall and snapped her fingers at the lady saying "You… I want Starbucks, go get me a starbuucks…" The woman she was snapping her fingers at and telling to go to starbucks was an EXECUTIVE of the company, but the almoght O could not imagine any other black women being anything more than a "servant" to her.

Being from Chicago, we heard years of stories about how poorly she treats people in real life. Her image is just that - not real.

I think stepmom is only telling one side of story. We don't know what she has done to provoke this move. Clearly she could have taken one of the other offers. I think she is being the greedy-pig in this one. She should move on with her life.

  22. Kestrel says – reply to this

Seriously, people. Out away the ladders and strop trying to get to some elevation that you can spit from. This is all BS. That woman is an embarrassment to herself. The fact that Oprah had anything to do with them AT ALL is amazing. After what Vernon did? This woman should be in a shelter somewhere trying to figure out how to work and pay for herself as,opposed to selling nasty stories with NO PROOF, NO WITNESSES - and isn't she violating those agreements she signed? Is she getting sued for that??
You people. Wow. You'll just chew eat other up just to have a carcass to cry over.

Re: Tee – my bad, sorry - English is not my first language - she feels she should be white and makes herself an advocat for whatever things she thinks are making her look good in others eyes

"Exploiting Black athletes for profit is reprehensible," but the former talk show hostess continued, "exploiting whit, freckled washed-up actresses with mental illness and addiction problems is totally fair game, though"
