Why didn't you just say their names, and then refer to them as the parents instead of calling them "momma" and "babies daddy"?

Bad decision IMO, what happens when they grow up and want to get married? Lots of reasons why this is a bad idea.

That's not good reasons at all! How terrible for these children.

While I can understand the tough decision that these parents, and all parents of conjoined twins, must make. At the same time, deciding not to proceed with a surgery that can improve the quality of their lives is irresponsible as a parent.

That is really selfish of the parents. Poor kids.

They don't give "some really compelling reasons" for not separating the babies. The give one: they don't want the other to die.

Poor decision, imho. They could give one a normal life, or two a life of hardships. Poor decision.

Re: becky – people say it's selfish, but how do you choose which child to die?

How can anyone call these parents irresponsible? Could you really look at your children, the people in the world you are supposed to protect over everything else and say, well, you can keep the heart and you can keep the liver? What? That is insane. My heart breaks for this couple. I know making the choice to keep them together was tough, but I commend them for making it. I just can't believe someone would call them selfish. Think about how hard it is for them.
