Guardianship Battle Isn't Over Yet! Judge Shockingly Moves To Reopen The Case For Paul Walker's Daughter!
That is what the judge in Paul Walker's daughter Meadow's custody trial has done to her grandmother Cheryl Walker's plans!
The mother of Paul Walker had seemingly dropped her plans to fight for custody of Meadow when the mother Rebecca Soteros agreed to go to rehab for alcoholism.
But, in a typical example of when the best laid plains go awry, the judge in the guardianship case, Commissioner David Cowan, has canceled that out-of-court settlement by extending his own judicial rights!
"It is up to the court to decide whether (a) guardianship case should be granted or denied."
He subsequently ordered Meadow to have her own personal lawyer, and the trial will resume on May 28th.
Paul Walker DID put specifically in his will that he wanted his own mother Cheryl to parent his daughter, so we don't have a big problem with the judge not accepting the family's own deal.
We didn't see this coming!
