Do your thang, Mila Kunis!
Man's best friend?
More like boy's best friend!
A lost 3-year-old boy from North Dakota was found totally safe, out of harm's way, and it was all thanks to his loyal dog Cooper!
Carson Urness was first discovered to be missing on Monday around 7:30 pm, and a search party of 200 people was quickly formed to find the little guy. Seven hours later one rescuer saw the dog out in the woods, and found Carson right there with him!
Carson told his parents that the golden retriever-german shepherd mix protected him from a thunderstorm by shielding him from the rain with his body. Although his mother was petrified when she realized her son was missing, she had a feeling the dog was there protecting him. She said:
"You think of the worst, but then I knew Cooper was gone. If anyone was going to find him, they'd just have to find Cooper."
The family adopted the "mutt" three years ago after they found him on the side of a road, and it turned out to be the best decision of their life!
The search party was nearly called off around 2:30 am due to the storm, but one last four-wheeler was sent out to make a final search. About a mile away from the family's property in Cooperstown was where the dog was spotted.
Although the boy was brought to the hospital as a precaution, it was determined he was totally fine.
All thanks to a dog who loves the little guy so, so much!
