Heartbreaking! Pamela Anderson Opens Up About Childhood Sexual Abuse!

| Filed under: Pamela AndersonHealthMental HealthCharityAnimal RightsAmazing

Pamela Anderson opened up about the worst moments in her life, her childhood sexual abuse.

This is just so disgustingly horrible we can barely handle it. We are FLOORED that she had to endure these things as a child.

While Pamela Anderson was giving a speech at the launch of her new advocacy group for animal rights, The Pamela Anderson Foundation, she made a shocking revelation:

She had a long history of sexual abuse as a child.

Pam said:

"I did not have an easy childhood. Despite loving parents, I was molested from age six by a female babysitter."

Six??! That poor little girl!

Things didn't get any better when she turned 12 and simply going to hang out at a friend's house turned into rape.

She continued:

"I went to a friend's boyfriend's house and his older brother decided to teach me backgammon, which led into a back massage, which led into rape. He was 25 years old and I was 12."

We have no words.

Years later, after one of her terrible boyfriends "decided it would be funny to gang-rape me with six friends" according to Pamela, she "wanted off this earth."

The only thing that saved her?

Her love of animals. She said:

"My affinity with animals saved me, they came to me naturally. The trees spoke to me. I wasn't sure why I was alive – a burning question, a quest. My loyalty remained with the animal kingdom. I vowed to protect them and only them. I prayed to the whales with my feet in the ocean, my only real friends until I had children."

Wow, we're so glad she was able to cling onto her love of the animal kingdom to help her cope.

We can't believe she's been through so much hardship, dealing with some of the absolute worst things life can throw at you, and she's still come out on top!

Way to overcome and keep pushing through with life, Pamela! You've done so many wonderful things! We love you!

Now that she looks more pathetic than ever attention whoring herself she's suddenly a rape victim. I wonder why you were raped….?

Re: pollopicu – Would you ask the same question to any woman who'd tell you that she was raped ?

I can't understand, I really can't. I'm a victim of a sexual assault, no rape or worse things.. I was 12 and it is still one of my strongest memory, that episode touched me very deeply and I don't brag it around. My entire life has been a journey through body acceptance and trust in people, not talking about how annoying is for me knowing people I don't like showing creepy attention. What I can't understand is how it is possible, for a victim of such violent facts, to have sold sex to pay a debt or to accept his status of sex-bimbo-oriented being. She's been a sexual object her entire life.. bah.. question mark.

If this is true, it is very sad. However, I take offense that she decides to "open up" about it when she is attempting to generate buzz for her new charity. It is a cheap way to get attention and detracts from the real issue.

I wonder if she thinks about how it may have shaped her public persona. It may have affected her so deeply that it took until now to come out with it all. Very Brave!
Will she name and shame? Women bury this kind of shiz because they somehow feel it was their fault. Look at how stunning she was and is. That would be all it might take…not her fault. Sexual assault statistics are stunning, and the secret statistics probably even more.

Re: ha ha ha – how fucking dare you ever objectify a woman and say she deserves this kind of horrific treatment. What, are you a complete psychopathic embecile? Every human on earth has the right to love, shelter, food, water and to have a voice. Pamela was just using hers. Shame on you.

OhGod: much respect and honor to you for your strength and survival. As friend and relative to several victims of childhood sexual assault, it is indeed true that one common way of dealing with the trauma is by continually acting out… as if needing to prove to oneself that the body doesn't matter, that sex doesn't matter, that being objectified doesn't matter. Very common. And the opposite behavior can be just as true. Depends on the victim, the values they were taught, the world they live in. Coping mechanisms differ, sometimes vastly… as all victims are different and process their responses differently. I absolutely believe Ms. Anderson. Oh God, I'm glad you've found ways to get through it– best of luck to you in the future.

pollipicu: if you shoved your brain up your ass, it wouldn't even be the sixth biggest thing you've stuffed up it this week.

Crimes against children are so heinous that accused pedophiles like those who abused Ms Anderson, Sylvain Kustyan, Jerry Sandusky, etc. must be apprehended before they have years to continue to destroy young lives. Sandusky is now safely behind bars. But unfortunately, Kustyan, who has been formally charged with two counts each of 1st Degree Sodomy and Sexual Abuse of a ten-year-old little boy, fled to avoid imminent arrest. Kustyan, formerly of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Hermin/ Mazingarbe, France, as an English teacher, has led numerous groups of schoolchildren on trips to the US, the UK and Ireland.. Pedophiles condemn their victims to a lifetime of emotional and psychological trauma and often permanent physical ailments as well. Since the average pedophile has 300 different victims in their lifetime and since the recidivism rate among pedophiles is virtually 100% and since there is no effective treatment and no known cure they must be stopped ASAP!

Re: ha ha ha – The reason women like her become desperate for attention by being sex objects is BECAUSE they were sexually abused. Even Marilyn Monroe was sexually abused. Every porn star was sexually abused. There's too many damn pedophiles in this world, and the girls become extremely confused on how they should act because all the attention they've ever received was "sexual attention" by people they trusted. I guarantee you decades down the road Miley Cyrus will say she was sexually abused. GUARANTEED.
