high school girl sent home dress too short mom wears to graduation

This is one way to stick it to them!

Central Davidson High School senior Violet Burkhart was sent home on her last day of school because teachers deemed her dress — which she’d worn to school five times prior! — was too short! Even though it was below the required mid-calf length!

So, Violet’s awesome mother Amy Redwine decided to give the school a dose of their own medicine!

Amy, who claims to never wear dresses, wore that same dress to Violet’s graduation!

And we can tell you it looks much shorter on the mom!

Ch-ch-check out the video (below) for the whole story!

So Perez, do you know where the calf is? Because no part of that calf is covered.

Her mama shouldn't wear this dress… she looks bad ;/

He reported it wrong, the length of shorts/dresses worn at school has to be longer than your arm fully stretched out. Wherever it reaches on your leg is what is deemed appropriate.

It's ironic that schools (establishments for the purpose of educating) have no qualms about looking absolutely retarded. The teachers and the administration at Central Davidson High School that were involved in the decision making process that sent this girl home ought be embarrassed. What a bunch of dummies.

Also, if they are sending girls home for outfits that "enhance the figure" too much, then boys shouldnt be allowed to wear basketball shorts because we can all see their teeny little d*cks flopping around.

Re: Sarah – Don't you think its absurd to judge skirts/shorts length based on the length of someones arms?

    Very Harper Valley PTA

The mother is a slut, and the apple didn't fall far from the tree
Schools need to have dress codes, no short skirts, no butts, no boobs, no balls hanging out

Fucking bullshit. There's nothing wrong with her outfit. This hick fucking school should focus on teaching the students and not sending them home for stupid reasons like this.

Once got kicked out of my Statistics class in the 60's, it was really cold.
    Dress looks OK to me.

In my opinion, the dress is not the best fit for the young lady in the first place. The length is not the issue. The bodice is too low cut for school. A simple, short "jacket' would complete the outfit. I'm no prude. Wear it to the mall and rock it! School? Well….

This is really stupid. Let her wear whatever she wants, it's her last day for fuck sake. I'm not from usa so I don't get why they even have a dresscode. If it's that important that the teachers bitch about the students clothes - get uniforms.

This is not bad nor particularly short. I hate it when schools act like they care about their kids while being gratuitously punitive because they feel like it that day. That's NOT caring. It's anal and slightly sinister.
