Did Someone Really Name Their Newborns After Wu-Tang's Raekwon And Ghostface Killah? Nope, But Wu-Tang Thought They Did!
You know what's a cute thing to do on Father's Day?
Pretend your newborn babies are named after members of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Know what's better than that??
When Dan Lieberman filled out a birth certificate application for his two newborns, he filled in their names as "Raekwon" and "Ghostface," after Wu-Tang's Raekwon and Ghostface Killah.
Raekwon was so honored, he shared the pic and wrote:
"This is live, family named their twins Raekwon & ghostface!!! #wu4thebabies"
Ha! That'd have been so amazing!
But we were skeptical seeing as how there could be multiple copies of those papers, and all sorts of things written on them. Seriously, you could probably just ask for another one if you made a typo during a normal, non-prank.
Rawkwon eventually figured out the truth, sharing Dan Liberman's hoax explanation, which read:
"I got the best father day gift I could get yesterday, but this is a close second. And for those wondering if we've lost our mind, this is just a joke, but we'll see how far the internet wants to carry it."
Dang, we were really hoping those kids were named after Wu-Tang members.
Let's hope Raekwon isn't too upset, becuase Wu-Tang clan ain't nothin' ta f**k wit!!
